Dr. Otis Drew, Orthopedic Surgeon, is dedicated to providing complete orthopedic care and sports medicine to Acadiana. Dr. Drew specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of a wide range of musculoskeletal (bone, joint and muscle) problems.

- Injury evaluation, treatment, and prevention
- Arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle
- Treatment of sports related injuries
- Shoulder, elbow, and knee surgery

- Joint care for inflammation, arthritis, and injuries, including joint injections

After receiving his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Dr. Drew then completed his internship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. Next, he completed his residency in orthopedics at Tulane University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Drew then completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Drew has provided sports medicine coverage for the NBA “World Champions” Dallas Mavericks’ D-League basketball team and professional hockey team in Dallas.
Dr. Drew instructs other orthopedic surgeons on arthroscopic surgical techniques. He has also participated and published several research studies in various orthopedic journals.
Professional affiliations include American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, Louisiana Orthopedic Association and Louisiana State Medical Society.
